HOUSTON (July 01, 2015)

“We would like to thank everyone for their continued support and prayers. We are thankful to God for the high-quality care being delivered to Jamie at Red Duke Trauma Institute at Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center and to Kaleb at Children’s Memorial Hermann Hospital, and we are so grateful to be at a facility that allows them both to be cared for together, under the same roof.

We would like to thank our entire care team: from the first responders and EMT’s, to Memorial Hermann Life Flight, to our talented doctors and clinical staff, and everyone else who has been there for us during this difficult time.

We’re pleased to share that Jamie is being released soon while Kaleb continues to be a real trooper. We hope and pray that Kaleb will get to come home next week.

This has been such a traumatic experience, to say the least, and we hope no one else out there ever has to go through what we have been through these past several days. Please be sure to research the areas you are visiting thoroughly, especially if they have alligators or other wildlife and encourage swimming or fishing.”
