Michele Wolf and VolunteersMichele Wolf of Kingwood, Texas was recently named President of Volunteers at Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital. She will serve through May 2015.

Also named during the luncheon ceremony were Pat Pittenger, vice-president; Janet Wallace, secretary; Rita Schwartz, treasurer; Janie Dampier, parliamentarian; and Art Voltmann, past-president.

Wolf has volunteered at Memorial Hermann Northeast since 1996. She served as Gift Shop and Membership chair and historian, as well as member of the Southwest Tower Surgery Information Desk. Wolf participates in the Memorial Hermann Northeast Volunteers Literacy Program and reads to pre-Kindergarten classes at Lakeland and River Pines Elementary Schools in the Humble Independent School District.

Michele and her husband, Joe, have been residents of Kingwood since 1974. They have two adult sons and three grandchildren.

Volunteers at Memorial Hermann Northeast donate more than 50,000 hours each year. They provide scholarships to the hospital’s student volunteers and donate funds to many hospital and community programs including the annual “In the Pink of Health” luncheon, Humble Area Assistance Ministries, Mission Northeast, Humble Good Oil Days, BookBusters/Reach Reading Program, and Kingwood Heartbeat Bears.
