Each year landmarks like Niagara Falls, the Empire State Building, Graceland, Times Square, state capitol buildings and more go red in honor of American Heart Month.

Starting tonight at dusk, Memorial City, including the Memorial Hermann Tower, will be illuminated in red to raise awareness of heart disease, the leading cause of death for both men and women according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The Memorial Herman Tower and surrounding area will remain lit through Saturday.
