Student-athletes in Fort Bend County are able to see a physician each Saturday morning at a sports injury clinic on the campus of Memorial Hermann Sugar Land Hospital, courtesy of Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute at Sugar Land.
“For many of our young athletes it’s difficult to get to the doctor during the week when they’re in school,” said Rehal Bhojani, M.D., Medical Director of the Sports Medicine Outreach Program at Memorial Hermann Sugar Land. “Our Saturday morning clinics allow athletes to receive timely, high-quality care, so when it’s time to go back to school on Monday their treatment plan is already in place.”
The sports injury clinics runs take place each Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., through Nov. 10. Walk-ins are welcome. Patients can make a reservation on the Sports Medicine Hotline at 281-725-5333.
