Memorial Hermann Memorial City Medical Center is pleased to announce two additions to its executive leadership team. Allen J. Tseng has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer and Harold E. Gottlieb, MD has been appointed Chief Medical Officer.

Since 2010, Tseng has served as the hospital’s senior director of business development and ambulatory services. During his tenure, he has been instrumental in the growth and development of Memorial Hermann Memorial City, including the addition of the Memorial Hermann IRONMAN Sports Medicine Institute and the Digestive Health Center on the campus. Prior to joining Memorial Hermann, Tseng held multiple leadership roles at Texas Health Resources. He has a master’s degree in health administration from Trinity University in San Antonio and a bachelor of science in biology from Baylor University in Waco. He and his family reside in the Memorial area.
Board-certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Gottlieb is a Certified Physician Executive with the American College of Physician Executives (ACPE). He also holds a master’s degree in business administration from Houston Baptist University. Dr. Gottlieb has served as a clinical instructor of internal medicine at The University of Texas Medical School at Houston (UTHealth) and as a member of the Texas Medical Association and the Harris County Medical Society. Prior to joining Memorial Hermann, Dr. Gottlieb was the Gulf Coast Regional Chief Medical Officer for CHRISTUS Health in Houston. He and his family live in Southwest Houston.
