Dr. Salinas joins the Friendswood clinic's three board-certified internal medicine specialists: Teresa Becker, MD; Pamela Dugano-Daphnis, MD; and Deepti Mishra, MD.

Dr. Salinas has been practicing medicine in the Friendswood community since 1984 and is currently the chief of obstetrics and gynecology at Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital.
A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Dr. Salinas holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in chemistry. She received her medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, and she completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
Dr. Salinas was a research associate in the Department of OB/GYN and Reproductive Sciences, Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. She also served as an assistant professor and director of women's health services for Galveston County -Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology-The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
A Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, Dr. Salinas' clinical interests include birth control, sexually transmitted diseases, menopause and osteoporosis, as well as hysterectomy and other surgical procedures.
Practicing within the Memorial Hermann Medical Group will allow Dr. Salinas to focus on patients' personal healthcare needs while enjoying access to the resources and innovations of a respected healthcare system.

Dr. Salinas will continue to grow her medical practice while Memorial Hermann provides business office and technology support services, including deploying an integrated electronic medical record, billing and collecting, insurance reimbursement contracting and information technology.
