This year's Memorial Hermann Foundation In The Pink of Health Luncheon presented by Kroger Food Stores is co-chaired by Katie Cromer and Shannon Wing. It will be held Friday, Oct. 10, at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott.
The day will begin at 10 a.m. with a reception and a unique shopping experience, featuring an array of vendors and an extensive silent auction. At Noon, Leslie Mouton, the luncheon's keynote speaker and news anchor for ABC Affiliate KSAT-12 in San Antonio, will share her very public experience with the disease.
Funds from the In The Pink of Health Luncheon will be allocated to three primary areas - education, technology and community outreach for the Breast and Bone Center at Memorial Hermann The Woodlands. Proceeds will provide for breakthroughs in technology through the purchase of new equipment, free mammograms for underserved women and educational materials to newly diagnosed breast cancer patients and their families.
