HOUSTON (February 21, 2021)

The City of Houston and many surrounding areas have lifted the boil water notice that has been in place since last week’s winter storm interrupted the water supply to many homes throughout the area. Below are some recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) on what to do now that the ban has been lifted:

Taking these steps as soon as possible will ensure that the water in your home is safe for you and your family. You can find out which cities have lifted the boil water notice by visiting the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality website.
